US adds 4 tycoons, industrialists union to Russian sanctions list

WASHINGTON, Aug 11 (PRIME) -- Washington has expanded its list of anti-Russian sanctions by including four businessmen and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs to the blacklist, the U.S. Department of the Treasury said in a statement on Friday.

The U.S. blacklisted Mikhail Fridman, Pyotr Aven, German Khan, and Alexei Kuzmichyov. The sanctions encompass asset freezes and a ban for the U.S. residents to carry out the deals with the sanctioned entities and individuals.
